La Croix Chevalière
The Languedoc is capable of producing great wines and each year shows this region’s superb potential.
La Croix Chevalière is our great wine; it is not produced every year, but only during exceptional years.
This wine is exclusively produced in our Roqua Blanca vineyard, 15 km North of Béziers where we dedicate the best parcels
and conduct a demanding and rigorous viticulture in order to obtain the required concentration.
Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Merlot are the grape varieties grown.
The final blending varies according to the wine sampling during the year that follows the harvest and is generally,
depending on the vintage year, a selection of the three best varietals that are found in La Croix Chevalière.
The 18 months maturing is carried out in 225 litre barrels for approximately 60% with batonnage and stainless steel vats
for the rest.
Bottled after clarification with egg white and no filtration, this wine expresses all the Southern generosity with
panache and elegance. Refined, powerful, concentrated and balanced, with pronounced tannins, this wine can age for five
to ten years after bottling.
Mas La Chevalière rouge Roqua Blanca
This wine is exclusively produced in our Roqua Blanca vineyards 15 km north of Béziers. It is fine, distinguished, powerful, complex, dominated by notes of red fruits, carried by nice flexible tannins, this lightly oaked wine is composed of Syrah, Merlot and of Cabernet Sauvignon. It expresses all the savours and generosity of the south. Serve at 18°C
Mas La Chevalière Grand Rosé
The Grand rosé is the result of the bleeding of the best cuvées from Mas. The colour, a vibrant pink, the complex aromas of fruits and flowers. A muscular mouth bringing the taste buds alive with hints of soft spices, persistently lingering. Serve chilled (10-12°C).
Mas la Chevalière blanc Peyroli
It is in our Peyroli vineyard (vineyard of altitude, in the foothills of the valley of Orb, 40 kms of Béziers) that we produce this floral,
generous, fine and refreshing wine, dominated by notes of citrus fruits, lemon and grapefruit. Being lightly oaked this wine has a lively acidity.
Composed of Chardonnay and Viognier, it expresses richness and distinction. Serve at 12°C.
